I'm Still Alive But My Tomatoes Are Ripe

I thought I would have plenty of time to blog this summer.  I thought I was going to be a diehard blogger.  I was very mistaken.  I've been SO busy and having lots of fun BUT I DO MISS MY BLOGGING.  School starts in a week.  I WILL be back soon with lots to share even if it's a little belated.  Gotta run and pick more tomatoes and almonds before the birds get them!

These photos are from last week.....

Wow those almonds look amazing! What do you so with them now? Cook em? Never had them right from a tree....Yes, I took have been very, very naughty when it comes to blogging. Our weather has been so cool, that I was outside gardening and tending to piles of flower pots, dirty potting shed, yard duties, mega trimming etc. It’s hot today...and smoggy. So I’m inside and the computer is back in biz. Your tomatoes look wonderful! I had a poor crop but some of the neighbors have come through. Spectacular thick tomato slices on thin wholegrain bread with honey mustard and a little salt. Heaven!

Hi Penny, I just wanted to give you a heads up. My husband is having an art opening in Santa Monica at The Sherry Frumkin Gallery on Sept.11...I don’t know
how often you come down here but thought you’d like to know about it. I would love to meet you in person and this would be a great opportunity. I know you have a child and are busy but what the heck maybe eh? I’ll send you a link of his work when I can figure out how...he does metal work so I think you would be interested....
